FACTS

In 2010, Mr. Dharambir died in a road accident, when his motorcycle was hit by a truck driver who was driving negligently. Dependents (Respondents) of the deceased sought compensation from the insurance company of the truck (Petitioner). The Tribunal held that the insurance company was liable but later discovered that the driving license of the truck driver was fake. Thus, the Tribunal directed the Petitioner to deposit the awarded amount with the liberty to recover the same from the present owners of the truck.
